The National Park of Monti Sibillini Organization (Ente Parco Nazionale dei Monti Sibillini) was founded by Presidential Decree (D.P.R.) on 6 August 1993.
It claims giuridic identity and is under the authority of the Ministry of the Environment and Protection of Territories according to the Law of 6 December 1991 n. 394. The Park Organization’s legal and administrative headquarters are in the Municipality of Visso.
In May of 2005 Park Offices were transferred to the new headquarters,
a historical ex-convent with an botanical garden annex.
